The NF LT does not, despite it's name, and it's a kickass little vehicle. ove:
Im of the idea that NF vehicles with their lower tech should be mostly wheeled vehicles except the heavy and med tanks. Wheeled vehicles are much less complex and easier to maintain. An easy choice to make when dealing with limited resources.
BE with there newer tech should have a mostly tracked vehicle due to there superior all terrain ability. (I can haz jeepz with trackz now?)
AFVs dont necessary have tracks and it has little to do with low-tech vs high-tech viro ...
We need humvees!
omg... awesome jeep is awesome. hey.... wait a min thats just a skin on top of an apc.
no it's not?
it's a custom model
I prefer Dizzy's AFV: link 1, link 2
Dizzy's will always be the nicest but it's entirely unusable.
Move the turret to the front and down a little? Problem solved?
+ redo all the rigging
+ leave it in the pink camo it has right now
I remember seeing it in testing ~ 2 years ago, it went berzerk once spawned, just like when our beloved tao commander dies
+ better than to redo it from scratch?
that kinda looks like a sexyfyed BE med.
No as in the model itself is unusable. I spoke to Dizzy about it on a number of occasions. He said the bones and rigging were so fucked up and he doesn't have earlier files or some shit, he said he essentially ruined the model.
Can't he just delete the bones and start over? Even if all the parts are attached into one whole mesh, he could still use the element tool and seperate the parts from each other.
Idk, I mean, if you want you can look at the .obj he sent us, but Dizzy was pretty insistent on it being unusable.
Well I just imported it and it looks fine to me, some weird spots but It can probably be used.
Then Dizzy is an ass.
The "going berzerk" thing is probably that 90 degree misaligned phymodel. I had that when I tested mine at first, and it made for some interesting testing. Stuff like that must be where the idea of aircraft came from.
