Titan boxing is still fun in my opinion. It can get better when you get the other titan skills/chassis, really opens up some play styles.
When I tried the Beta, I found the infantry combat the most fun of any AAA game I've tried in a very long time. I didn't really enjoy the Titans though. Having said that, if more people I knew were playing it, I'd probably have bought it. Though the 50gb download definitely put me off.
So I look and see that it is currently 5$ for the base game on origin. 20$ for base game and all expansion packs.
Before using origin please note if anything happens while using it, the support services used to assist customers is some how worse than steam. Orgin also doesn't like to accept money, for it frequently likes to decline cards and not say why and then locks the account for a day. The support team will make you wait 3 hours before talking to you, tell you that origin declined your card because they are convinced you are retarded. Then say this phrase "We will escalate your case, you should expect an email from us soon." You will get that email a week later. Buy their dumb shit on amazon. All of this bullshit for dragon age inquisition... 7/10 game. An absolute recommendation, but not at full price.
ive never had any issue with origin i didnt have with steam aswell - same goes for uplay btw. yeah i find it shit that i need all this DRM bullshit and that one isnt enough, i dont really need steam either. but apart of that i have no complaints.
Steam support has gotten better compared to before, they usually get back to me the day after. Once contact is made, I usually get responses at bi-hourly intervals. But the only one refund bullshit is still ridiculous. GoG is the hero we need.
In case you haven't noticed even once in the past twelve months, GFWL is dying and being replaced mostly by Steamworks ((or the games are left to rot)
Speaking of this, Codemasters, get your fucking shit together and wipe GFWL live from DiRT 3. I want to play good racing games with my controller, god damn it.
Titans just uses origin, there isn't any other drm. Teef, I can see you had bad experiences with origin, but not everyone does. A bunch of people had bad experiences with steam but people still like that. Personally haven't had any problems with origin. That said, I rather like gog's service and would rather more of that.
That's a pretty bad argument teef, look at steam and its the same deal. The people who have a bad experience are the most likely to post something.
It's not a bad argument, its me telling you EA's platform is a piece of shit. You defending their platform is giving them excuses to not fix it. Obviously steam must be doing something right Mr. 198 games. Or it would be the worst platform to play on, and choking on ubi-dick.
Dem humble bundles man, can't help myself. Again, I haven't had any issues with origin. Neither steam. So I can't complain about problems that haven't happened. My point was more about that every digital distribution platform has problems. Singling out one while ignoring the others is a bad argument in my opinion. Then again I like viewing the problems from every side and simply say just try it out for yourself, if it doesn't work then it doesn't work.
The only repeated issue I have with Origin, is that it refuses to save my password after each patch. I never had any problems with Origin or Steam apart from that. uPlay on the other hand...
Yeah, it's done that to me for a long time too. Though last patch it didn't ask me for a password, so maybe that's fixed now?
