Name the most fail tank you have seen on that map. Dual HE, HE MG, Salvo, and 2 plates of armor on each side.
Yesterday I saw a dual standard cannon heavy , with standard missiles and standard mg. Armor was only 2 layers but not sure what type. Oh and the whole thing was stuck on a turret... Now showing my ignorance, what type of armor is best on escort?
On nf escort I saw a railgun heavy with std mg,4x homing salvo and some std. missiles and 1-2 plates of armor
Your standard issue composite dual rail heavy, BUT, when we told the driver that rails fail and HE are better his response was "but rails fire faster". I saw a plasma medium also, but judging from the amount of blue it spammed at least it had an engine. As for the best armor, im not really sure. Regen might be pretty good because its cheap and noone repairs you anyway. If someone makes a fully loaded composite heavy I dont care as long as its not one of those fail tanks.
Just a few hours ago, this guy built a heavy tank with 2 layers of armor on the front and 1 layer on the sides and back. The tank had a standard cannon bound to 1P and another standard cannon bound to 2P, as well as a single missile launcher bound to 1S. You can't really get much more fail than that.
It's not the biggest fail I saw, but... It was on crossroads and I killed about 4 to 5 people in an apc without any armor. The driver screamed "CHEATER!!"... it was so fun. But the best was that it happened a second time in this game. 8-10 kills for two shots with a mortar...
APC: Regen/Biodiesel Tanks: Regen/AdvCoolant Regen is the best IMO because its cheap, can heal without the need of an engy, and is the best against stickies (no matter how good you are you WILL get stickied). An APC with 3 layers of regen takes two stickies to kill. Also, the cheapness means you can usually get 2-3 times the number of vehicles out for the same price as other armors.
WHICH MEANS MORE TANKS but really, tanks suck on escort upgraded nade + regen + diesel = YOU'RE WINNER
heh, actually I use composite/fusion heavy with dual HE and either 50cal or 2stdMG depending on the server I prefer to use infantry on escort 99% of the time but I just played a game a little bit ago and games like these where no one can drive a tank for shit I roll out one of these, but it lasts me the whole game. you just gotta have 1 tank that doesnt essentially "rush" the flag but survives and keeps the NF from getting entrenched in(no mad camping spots or turrets for NF!) the most difficult flag for this tank is definatly the S bend flag cause no matter what you gotta go into that fucked up trench. All the other flags you shouldnt die at though.
