Epic concedes to JPL

Epic decided to concede the clan match to JPL today citing some sort of world cup for "football" even though everyone knows the superbowl was earlier this year. JPL henceforce declares themselves kings of HON and empires.

We needed to make sure that Paul the octopus wasn't lying to us about Germany winning the 3rd place match. On a side note, Spain was predicted to win the final. That mofo has been 100% correct on all of his predictions since 2006.

 

No, he made a wrong decision in 2008 and he has only predicted Germany's games prior to this finale. He has only ever made 12-15 predictions. And he's only been around since 2008 (they don't live that long).

It's true. Even the might of 3 EPIC members would not have stood up against 10 JPL, so we had to forfeit.

Could be worse though, like you know, if BSID were scrimming 420, but 420 lacked people, and got a few EPIC, but then BSID found out there were 3-4 EPIC on a 420 team of 11, and then pussied out due to being scared. But of course, that totally didn't happen Friday night right?

We only scrim with cool kids. As you might recall, we offered to scrim the 420/EPIC team under the condition that you not be in it. Think of it as a virtual treehouse and you're the virtual girl that's not allowed in.

Because, a team of 11, which had 6 420 members, 4 EPIC members and 1 BSID member, does not constitute as 90%. I recommend relearning some basic skills.

If anything though, that's even funnier, that BSID are actually that scared of scrimming EPIC that they won't even do it if it he leader is involved out of 4 EPICs. I was honestly really flattered.

Then scrim us. I know full well what you guys are like in terms of scrimming. "Oh, lets scrim...CW!", or 420 etc. If you guys genuinely want to prove me wrong, scrim us and win. Or you can keep trying to scrim little/inactive clans, whilst JPL and EPIC actually play real matches with genuine skill involved.

 

You mean "scrim us and be told the round didn't count."

 

The last 2 rounds we played. First one, Communism accidently put sv_cheats 1 on for about 5 seconds, we won, and BSID are like "OMG NO DAT DIDN'T COUNT CUZ OF THAT" etc. Second round, Communism turned falldamage on, we lost 2/3 locations due to getting squished, as clearly visible in his demo. This wouldn't have happened if BSID "higher ups" didn't insist on playing on a US server when 75% of the people playing are in Europe, and having it run by a drunk Communism.
