Entities showing up as rectangles

    hey guys, I'm like super new to hammer, and I'm doing the conquest map tutorial. Whenever I make any entity, it shows up as a rectangle in the camera screen. In all the other screens, it shows the barracks and if i go in the rectangle and look a certain way, the barracks will show.

    can anyone help me?

    Go to options -> 3d view and increase the model render distance.
