Engineer visual updates. When an engineer has revive skill, all dead players on his team will receive an icon that they can be revived. The other way around, dead players that wish to be revived can see an icon over the head of engineers that have revive. Pros: Easier to identify engies with rev. Easier to recognize dead players. Cons: Clutter +Alternatives: Nothing, dead bodies mean they can be revived already.

Yes, yes, yes and YES. Revive is a nice skill, but having to look on your map for grey arrows all the time blows a bit. Also, if you're dead and an engineer with revive is around you should get the message "Medic [NAME] is in your vicinity and will aid you soon!"
It's against forum rules to re-spam ideas though. A twist----give the dead a signal that a reviver is nearby. That might be even more needed to keep people from respawning right before they could have been revived.
his idea is significantly different than the other billion threads that just want a symbol above the head for everyone to see. this idea is to only give the icon to people who have selected the skill to be able to revive people. that makes this idea win.
