Sometimes, the sound of the engine will play, then cut out, then play later. This has been around since 2.12 AFAIK. Also, the sounds often don't match the engine types.
it has to do with your speed as far as i know, i once had it in hl2,and i think there is few to do about it then again i could be wrong, since i have been before, and its only a rough guess
Yep, it's an engine problem, it has been known forever and is even in HL2. It goes on for as long as you don't change speed, or to be more precise, as long as you don't change gears. As for the wrong engine sound, that's new. Is it really just the sound of a vehicle on another vehicle? Is it all the time or just sometimes? Can you reproduce it?
