well even though -windowed and -noborder seem to do nothing, -autoconfig fixed the problem. Too bad empires died during my absence.
wtf I just tried to join viper when it was not empty anymore and got the error again. Why would I want to alt tab? Edit: Just tried out, it now only occures when I try to join Viper's. So why does Vicki hate me? D:
Honestly, running full resolution with -windowed -noborder will just make things so much better. I can't think of any possible reason not to use that.
Because I don't like windows. I mean the box in which the applications are not the system, even if I like it neither though. What you mean by full resolution? I got broad screen so I dont care actually >.> But could we please go back to topic, my questions about the windowmode only were a sidenote.
The point of noborder is that it removes the window you tard. It's like having fullscreen, only it's windowed, without the border. And you set the aspect ratio in the graphics, and set it to full. If you're gaming with anything less than full resolution in the correct aspect ratio (4, 16:9, 16:10 etc) you should go hang yourself for buying a monitor that you're incapable of using.
