I wouldn't mind doing that either. But in case you'd rather have someone else try to choose someone who is actually interested in what's happening in the scrim so we don't get a demo of the recorder going afk halfway trough or not looking at the action.

I could be wrong here, but I assume you understand how timezones work. It's pretty crazy actually, it's like, the time is actually DIFFERENT in one place to the next!!!11!!11 so amazin rite?

It's either US day time and late EU evening, or it's US evening and EU is all busy sleeping. Given the pug is hosted on a European server, by a European guy, then why would he rule out all the EU guys playing, when now he can at least get SOME of the US guys and most of the EU, rather than none of the EU and most of the US.

If you want a US pug then host one, no-one will stop you.

 

Oh, also, for my double post, I bring news that I can probably attend for an hour or so. Turns out I have tomorrow off because I have to watch some horses run round in circles.

Nobody likes to play when they are dead tired. For Trickster the pug will start at mindnight, for Security it's 4am and I don't even want to think about the Aussie players. So if anything the next pug should be an hour or two earlier imo.

I admit that it probably would've been better to host on Saturday but we'll see how it works out. A lot of people were excited about it when I talked to them so I think it will be fine.

Btw is the Monday after Easter a holiday for Americans too (9th of April)? Because lots of American players asked for a Sunday pug/scrim over the years and I was thinking that we could easily have one next week.

 

Yeah, it is usually better on Saturday because at least the US guys aren't at work. I can only really get an hour in at best myself, and that's only because I've ended up with a day off work tomorrow by accident.

 

The pug was a huge success. More than 50 people turned up and a lot of them haven't played for a long time, it was truly a veteran pug. I was shocked to see so many jipples and old timers, glad to see it's still possible to pull them in on a three days notice.

But anyway, Thank Ya'll for coming and thanks for the good games, I hope we can have another pug next week.

We played five rounds, Duststorm,Mvalley, Cyclopean, Canyon and lastly escort as a "warm down" of sorts, I commanded Dust and cyclo so I couldn't demo but I have Mvalley and Canyon demos. Hopefully more demos will turn up later.

Yeah, really good pug, really well organised by Predator. But really, next time, don't fucking vote Connexion, he's so unbelievably terrible.
