Empires desperately needs a new meta to grab peoples attention again, the current game flow is stagnant and the same research 95% of the time and the other 5% get called idiot comm for not getting the same research as the 95%.

 

I definitely see multiple research paths now, so what you said is a false statement.

Even if that's true, that doesn't mean anyone can just come to us with his own version of the game.
