Empires Is Under Attack?!?!?

I like how everyone is being an asshole to violent crimes. Good to see the mod is setting a good example for new players and server owners.

 

Yesterday was an day of extreme lag. Lag like no other. I figured something else was involved other than 16 meds and apcs on escort.

 

This thread makes me more disappointed in the empires mod community than I've ever been here before.

Not only are some faggots DDOSing servers, but you randoms are treating the people reporting it like shit.

This is fucking embarassing, you all need to grow up.

yeah there's no way that i can think of to prove such claims and Accusing someone for showing up and telling us about the problem just seems counter productive.
I can understand peoples eagerness to point the finger, this is like the ultimate grief, we the players cant do squat about it and we have no idea when it will stop.

 

I humbly beg to differ.

The ultimate grief would breaking into a server farm and hijacking a bunch of game servers at the root, and then forcing them all to run emp_money.
Then the server owners couldn't even shut down their own servers to stop the madness since they wouldn't have access.

(Sadly, while the CS:S equivalent is de_dust, all the servers are already playing that map, and dust2.)

 

Ok Lets see joined a server that didint lag. K i played for bout 10 minutes than when more ppl join thats when it happens LERP just goes of the charts. Theres this carachter ive seen in there called PPLS or sumthing PPC his Steam Picuter is this http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/5162/sliding.jpg
His Ping is over 400 at time and sits in unassigned thats what my suspicion is but it might be server, patch or server master DL pr0n.
Im not impling its Violent Crime but its something strange doing it cuz 2.25a patch cant do it by itself. Most of this stuff happend after i got 2.25 i have no idea about yesterday. Plus there were some other shadey charachters like griefers/trolls today. We were griefed atleast 3 matches in a row on some servers.
Also did VIPER crash beause of this or it just didint transfer to 2.25a yet.

Im not saying Violent did it but its got something to do whit this new patch. Also any ppl trying to solve this mistery than i suggest you give some feed back bout griefers and other stuff.

Also what the hells LERP? Ive seen it flash yellow at times when there were to many tanks on the battlefield and maybe a full server.

Thats what pissed me off the most I was playing on Duststorm and the NF comm just rolls over to our base gets out Taunts me, runs of and than I see the Whole NF team saying COMMS GREIFING BLARGH BLARGH!!! Im like wtf.

Than Cyclopean gets greifed by 3 different ppl, In the beginning i was sitting in spec when i sayd to join NF i join and see bitter jesus saying something about being F S Spaced. He leaves the griefers the CV cuz he was getting walled in. And thats when this Sadistic Slayer fag walls our base in and starts droping shitload of armouryes. Than he gets F S SPACED. Some other guy gets in starts reasearching when we dont have res at all. He gets out the comm and spamms bunch of jeeps infront of the VF and leaves. Third Comm stays there and does nothing. At That point when i got in the CV the other team got Rail Heavyes and i was too frustrated to deal whit that shit. And sayd alright fuck this Half the teams in spec. So i did sumthing im not really proud of (i drove the CV in the water so we could get of the map!) Im srry if i pissed everyone off....

Glycen City: I was BE other team was griefers and trolls (Half the team was doing sumthing) My team made theyr way up to theyr second flag. When we got there we werent suprised why out FPS rates were so low when we looked at theyr side of the road near theyr VF. PILE OF JEEPS and APCS. Won the game but felt bad for the ppl who were on NF and trying to do sumthing.

Theres also M_valley but this is just mainly about the dude PPC (Splendid Cat Spray) He was sitting in unnassigned whit atleast 679 to 696 Ping max.
Idk he might just be a guy whith the shitiest PC in the world but theres really sumthing odd about him.

 

Killing machine if this occured on either viper or emp main then go HERE and file in a report.
If you dont know the steam ID, then please provide a time, since im quite sure that the griefer get mentioned a couple of times in the chat and its possible to find people through server logs then.

 

Sometimes guys you're a fucking embarrassment. Violent Crimes is the owner of the large game server conglomerate ConVictGaming. He's often in the Neotokyo tester channel with me. If you just go "OMG, NEW SERVER, THEY DDOS EVERYONE" every time then you have no right to complain over the current servers when you drive away the others.

At the end of the day, unless this guy owns all those IPs and is not renting them, then the DDoS have a time limit since he won't be able to afford to keep using it.
