Revision of Empires Overview I'm not sure who wrote the overview for the Steam Release of Empires Mod, or, furthermore, who proofread it; but it contains many typos, s-v agreement issues, and passive language unappealing in an advertising perspective. As you are the spokesman for the group, trickster, I hold you personally responsible for the errors and beseech you (or whomever you can enlist) to amend them. Here is a revised and proofread overview: Revised Text Empires is a Half Life 2 total-conversion combining the best aspects of the First-Person Shooter and Real-Time Strategy genres. Players choose between fighting for the Brenodi Empire or the Jekotian resistance known as the "Northern Faction" under the direction of each team's designated commander. Commanders play from a traditional above-the-battlefield view and issue orders to players, place base structures and defense, research new weapons and vehicles, and manage the teams’ resources. Standard players secure territory and construct bases for the commander, and wage war with one of 4 customizable infantry classes bolstered by one of 7 fully-customizable vehicle classes. The objective of each round is to: 1. Kill the enemy commander, 2. Reduce the enemy team's reinforcements (or tickets) to 0. Key Features: FPS/RTS hybrid featuring comprehensive tech trees, base-building, and resource management. Large maps for combined infantry, vehicle, and base-building gameplay. Vehicle customization for engines, armour, to weaponry. Customizable infantry classes. In-game promotion and unlockable skill system. Unique squad system, rewarding teamwork with extra abilities and passive bonuses for sticking together.
