    Server population dies because people just need to sleep, that's my observation.

    When it's the hot time, there's literally nothing that can kill the server population, even if we are playing district -> escort -> urbanchaos, or if the server crashes, or if an abusive admin just kicked every single player.

    There's a lot of games that have this kind of "spawn restriction", not necessarily ticket, but your respawn is kinda limited, especially in late game.
    I don't think most people would agree that ticket, or any form of spawn restriction is killing the fun.

    Not to mention you really don't see zero ticket rounds everyday.

    Basically :p Although I did mean the debate might be more likely to be implemented with the current dev team.

    Oh, did that slight e-build buff ever get in? And e-repair?

    It's very difficult to kill with the engi smg2 (BE-haven't tried NF)now unless you are right up close
    It makes it difficult for engis to do what they need to do and its difficult to defend ourselves with it.

    Get the accuracy upgrade, smg always had bad aim before you get it.

    It never was this bad, except for years ago, I think it was fixed back in 2.24d until now, I cant kill anyone with it now and was able to before and I get killed a lot easier because of it.

    For engis accuracy upgrade is not a priority, revive, repair comes first so by the time I get a third or 4th skill..game over just about

    SMG2 is exactly the same as it was last September for accuracy.

    I've noticed many people swearing up and down that weapons aren't how they used to be, even weapons that were entirely untouched. In particular, multiple people have claimed that the BEHR, SMG2, RPG and Mortar have been nerfed, despite the RPG and Mortar not having even been touched in years.

    Rest assured, the vast majority of weapons have not been changed from how they were last September.

    I think it's the relative feeling compared to other weapons which were changed around.

    something has changed for sure because I cant kill anyone after shooting many times and I'm killed with 1-3 shots from another class.

    Usually I would blame it on my poor aim but I can't since I was killing a lot more before whatever changed changed.
    I played district today as a rifleman and got many kills.

    If many are saying it, then there is something to consider that something somewhere did change.
    and from my ss of the engi's crosshair I don't recall seeing such a wide spread.

    Just highlighting this for its insight.

    In general people always say something has been changed when it hasn't, perhaps this is the reason. Relative balance changing, even though the actual item in question hasn't been touched.

    In Candles post for 2.63 release he said:

    that could be the answer or part of it.

    Can you post a comparison of how the smg2 is now where you reverted to and how it was for the last 6 months or so.

    LOL I like being an engi there's a lot more to do plus I can heal my own tanks and give myself ammo, no need to wait for anyone to do it for me :p

    BTW I know there was some kind of rpg fix. No idea what it was, I just remember that from Spartacus changelog. Was that also reverted? Were all the changes outside of scripts reverted? Or only scripts?

    Kinda fell out of the picture, lately.

    Aside from some ammo tweaks, we have not seen the rpg or mortar directly change in the last year.

    One morning it took my fancy and it took me about 3 minutes to figure out what was causing the majority instances of the "multiple rpgs" bug and candles fixed it.
    Ive seen it happen since so its not fully fixed, but the easiest way doesnt work.

    I don't recall who did that. Might've been smithy or candles. I don't believe it was intended to change behavior, probably only to correct certain bugs.

    What exactly is this multiple RPGs bug?
    The guided no delay thing?
