After a bit of a wait, 2.51 is ready. This release is mainly bugfixes and balance changes, but some of the bugs are pretty major and have afflicted the game for a long time, so it's pretty major that we've finally managed to track them down (collisions!). The GUI overhaul is on the horizon, so until then, enjoy Empires 2.51. Changelog: PS. I'll post up elsewhere when I can get some screenshots on new Canyon.
Considering how fast it fires, that is a lot of damage for guided. I think it would make an amazing short range missile. Don't quite understand the extra health for absorbant, but it is only like an extra 20-30 health, so eh.
Yeah, its short term DPS is better than UML and its long term DPS is barely lower. It's really really hard to build a 6-missile/clip Guided that is both damaging enough to be worthwhile and also isn't a building murderer. They've gotten about as close as possible.
It feels nice to see bugs reported by you get fixed. I was also reminded about those briefings let me fail my final on Thursday and I'll get on it.
Did that server switch get put in? sv_auto_spec to force all players to spec and lock teams? Candles said he finished the code in a few minutes but I didn't see it in the list.
