I was trying to make this map in a cave and have a commander, but it wouldn't work. So I put it outside and its fine. Very small map, smaller than canyon, but may be odd enough to have small but good games on.
I love it! In my opinion, there aren't nearly enough maps that consist mainly of narrow areas conductive to infantry combat while still allowing tank combat.
Add trees to the upper areas but not the lower areas, and maybe one or two rocks here and there for a little bit more infantry cover, but not too much. It's nice though, the simplicity really takes me back, it's very very canyon.
That was the goal. Now, my computer does not compile maps properly, and when I run them, they crash when driving vehicles around. I'd need to have someone else compile it. I also need to block the visibility from one corner to the other on the BE side to corner areas, as it is completely visible in a straight line.

I don't have any good tree models other than stock, but the textures belong to silk, part of what came with emp_chain. Side note: It also crashes the game to have more than 1 NF commander in the map. If you use it to gauge the height of a ceiling, make sure to delete it, for future reference. I'm going to have to remake all of the cliff displacements by hand. One or several of them became corrupt somewhere along the line. If anyone else would like to mess with it, feel free to.
