    i understand about the turrets, i dont know if that would work but it sounds like i need to test... puting them in front or on the sides works just the same, and there are 2 sides that you can get out of both the ocean and the lake,, before and after the bridge is raised,.. do you mean the ocean or the lake i can tell you where to get out at

    well i talked with the generious [ON|E] clan and it seams they like my map and said they would host it, they were having trouble geting the hosting server to get the files that one would need setup so anybody could just join and download and get in... im sure they will fix it i wish i knew what to tell them to get it to work like that..

    here is [On|E] 's site , looks like the reason they useually mop the floor is they have been playing a lot of natual selection, i used to love that mod , for some reason i cant remember but i stoped playing http://www.online-evolution.org

    Hello Hellion we here @ [On|E] Online-Evolution are hosting the map, so far it shows Promise and its done in good craftsmanship. The map textures its layout is smooth.
    The map structures such as the sentry towers is a good touch.

    We hosted it and so far so good. Just one minor set back that needs to be fix but I am sure that Hellion knows about it and we here are going to work with him to help fix.

    Other than that the map is playable so download the map its worth playing.

    i will be doing a recompile this weekend- anybody that has Emp_slaughtered and wishes to play with the updated features on the public server will need to update there map, the [On|E] server will probably do this for you but i find it best to do it off-server to save servers bandwith...
    i will be adressing a few mentioned issues found by the players here. pluss one i noticed myself after compile :| also ones found by the [On|E] players

    Ver 1.31 release

    well i have done a bit more to the map and now it runs a bit more optimized as well as doing a few things that were suggested here.. here is the link and update log..

    as always unzip to the empires folder and replace all the old files to update if you even downloaded 1.0

    version change log.
    1.31 -updated minimap
    -optimized vis distance and
    displacements to match vis space.
    -modified gard towers spawn rate
    -added more wave sounds crashing
    on the shore to make it sound though it is
    coming from far and then crashing on the
    shore
    -cut the radius of the lake's water
    sound by 200000 i guess when you have
    snd_digital_surround 1 on all those sounds
    are cut off and i have been useing headphones
    and thought the sounds were really quiet.
    -fixed a long range arty. exploit
    that allowed a few shells to land in the nf
    base from the brenodi passage to the center map
    [and center area].

    1.14 -added ledges to the gard towers
    so you can build turrets for the gard
    towers
    -adjusted lighting levels

    Tested out your map and I like the layout and those towers are sweet but it needs more "things". Its too plain looking maybe some rocks on the sides of the paths or some different textures. But other than that its great I cant wait to play on it with some good teams.

    I don't think I ever see anyone hosting a cusom map.

    www.stormed.de on server# 2
    they are currently hosting the map, it is not in the votemap section but it rotates to the map before canyon i think it is. i think the On|E servers should have it up soon they are working on there servers right now.

    We really need a custom map server. It would make a change from the escort/district rotations I seem to find every time I log on :(

    just wanted to post a shot of a good 12 player battle i had on the stormed servers... was one hell of a game

    I like this map by the way. It was very nice looking. I like the towers for rogue attacks on passing tanks. The bridge has potential for havoc. I like that the refineries are open enough to build around. good work.

    erm are they runing 1.31 ? im sorry jj, i honestly though krenzo was going to love this and make it official so i only did 1 name . for the future tho i will put version tags on the file name . sorry for any troubles, however i do know that the stormed server is runing the current version, the On|E however i have not yet seen it in rotation long enough to see

    its actually pretty fun to drive the Comm car off the cliff to hide it in the water as a sort of last ditch effort

    With a phase three electric motor in a jeep I can get on to some of the high places. Dont know if you intended that or not but its sweet.
