Ruined shadows, it was better open ended than it is now, all crappy and linear. It's just district with vehicles now. It's not even as good as glycen.
lololol. How can this be worth than that wall spammming map?
Anyways, I do agree that it sucked that I had to make the map linear but I am working on making tanks less powerful in this map with RC10.
Less linear is your suggestion, and I agree with the 2nd(East), and 4th flag(North). They will be opened up a lot more.
There are some completly dark spots around one or two flags, especially the
flag after the church flag. The way through the hole in the wall is so dark
that its almost impossible to spot enemys.

i wont have a problem with completly dark spots if
A) flashlight wouldnt lag some people (especially in 2.2)
B) muzzleflash would lighten the surounding
C) vehicles had searchlights
The flag capping is linear but not the battles. There are so many side paths and ways around the main street that its hard to notice. I hate linear maps but it works really well on this map.
Linear maps/pathways force people to fight bigger more epic battles. That is why canyon is so popular despite being unbalanced. Two lanes provide you with some options but also generally there are clear frontlines that people push forward and back. When shadows was non-linear it was just a giant game full of retarded goose chases around the map instead of a good push back and forth along the streets.
Well, I agree with linear. It will always be linear now unless I see the Empires community gets smarter... so always linear.
There is a few problem spots that are cokepoint hell and those are being fixed.
For the lighting part. Some areas will get some more lighting, but it will always be a dark map.
make that park area with all the trees less laggy.
The tree area had a massive vis leak making it go much more laggier than it could of been. It is an easy fix, and I am doing additional work in the area also.
I need suggestions.
How can I clear up the north? Map needs less chokepoint issues.

RC10 is getting really close to being finished. In fact, it should be out with 2.2.

After massive long delay, I am going to start doing last minute tests.

I removed the 3d skybox from the real mini-map.

That music does play in game.
However that music is not included with the res file, so only people on the forums can use the music. Some people mayyy not like that being played so I figured it would be best to allow people to choice if they want that or not.
