More specifically, I added an engineer restrict around the refineries so that engineers can't drop ammo boxes on top of the resource nodes to prevent commanders from dropping a refinery. The major thing I did was add boosts to the ramps, and if that isn't optimization of Rainbow Road, I don't know what is.
Never. This is the best map for 2.25, ever. Also this is the only map where arty owns hands down against any kind of enemy vehicle.
Arty? I think guided missiles (with a little bit of teamwork) are the best weapon on rainbowroad. Nice. But I won one round almost alone because I was hiding as scout near to the refinery and so the enemy commander couldn't place a new one. This wasn't my intention and I wasn't hidden that good. Should scouts be also restricted from the refinery or should the fail team learn to play?
We need a map with landscape like Mvalley or something in this theme. Maybe something with trippy water and giant mushroom trees......
I was watching an old trailor of Insect Infestation (the HL2 mod) the other day and thought to myself.... "Damn we need a map like this". This is what I mean.
Didn't effect me at all and i'm one that would normally have to quit on a map like this. Leave it as is.
