Don't worry, it's a model with normal map, polycount is not high and has LOD, performance should be ok.

Well, I'm uploading the file but going to need some help. Due to some connection problems (I live in a rural area without access to broadband of any kind), I splitted the package in several pieces so I can upload them in a safe way. I need someone to download it, check if everything looks ok (no missed materials or models), and then upload it again in one piece.

    ok will be done soon.
    oh, and one more thing:
how does the size of the hight map reflect the size of the displacments in a map?
becouse I want to use that little program to creat a small island map for the hidden source.

Using height maps to generate displacements works like this: pure white (255) means the highest point in your map, pure black (0) means the lower. Distances are relative, you'll set the final height in Dispgen (ie. pure white means 1024 units). Hope this helps you, there are tutorials about this in the net.

I played it a little. Noticed two things: you can't construct the ramps to get onto the dam and the water hurts you if you go underwater.

Yes, water hurts for several reasons, but do not undestand why you can't construct the ramps. I suppose you tried but the progress bar is not showing the real progress. Both ramps have 800 health points, so it's needed a lot of time or several engineers to build them.

The bar fills up quickly and just goes past the end of the holder thingy and off the edge of the screen.

Yes, hope that odd bar behaviour can be fixed because it's going to confusse people. Ramps build ok, it takes several minutes, my intention was to slow down any possible dam early rush.

Wrong path when you extracted the files? Make sure the directories inside the .rar (maps, models, materials, scripts amd resource) are extracted in the root empires directory.
