Not only has this severly disrupted the industrial and military production in the area but reports are coming in that NF forces are reforcing themselves with the available materials and are using this opportunity smuggle out as much assets as possible from local depots, which contain enough supplies to sustain their forces for decades. Rumor also has it that this could serve as the initial foothold for a full scale invasion of the Brenodi Empire. Not enough Brenodi ships are in range to effectively blockade the harbor so an emergency reserve division has been sent in to quickly contain the situation and eliminate the NF threat. AHAHAHA YES FUCK YOU TRICKSTER Terminator is literally my favorite player now. Thank you for putting so much effort into a game when others are whining about it being dead.
errr....eeeh... if it was any other map I would disagree with you, but it is money, and ref repair/construction is practically a full time job that's fun for no one. However this version already seeks to reduce the time needed to spend on refs, cutting the number down to 12 instead of 20 total, so I would like to hear some playtesting feedback before I do anything like that.
I'm loving it Terminator. The lighting and the brushwork looks very good and the 'industrial dock' look is executed very well. The new refinery points are an excellent improvement over the old 'wagon wheel with magic money smoke' design, too. The whole thing shows you put a lot of vision and effort into it, and I think it's going to be successful gameplay wise, too. For constructive criticism I'll say that the large scale of many of the textures is slightly prominent and seems to almost makes it feel like one of those 'rat' maps. This can probably be remedied with the tweaking of the detail map of some of the materials, or possibly adding small scale props and overlays around some places to correct the player's sense of scale.
Why are the cranes so high up? Who the hell makes cranes that high up? That's incredibly inefficient and dangerous. This version sucks.
The cranes work in conjunction with container lifting aircraft. They are high enough to allow for open flight underneath them for said craft. However, a redesign of the crane modules may be in order.
Trickster staying silent with the other revamped version? I thought he'd have posted already. Looks sooo great, i want this in. And it has none of this roof passage stuff too.
I like it, artillery is now more of a risk/reward kind of deal instead of mandatory as in regular money.
