I thought about it and decided not to make it possible to go inside the NW building. The reason is it would make the map to complicated. And NO TRICKSTER the water stays deadly!!!
If you want clouds instead of water, and replace the area with a big chasm you will see dead tanks/infantry flying in the air if they fall down. BTW smoke like that one duststorm (older version) kills fps
So I finally played your map. It is really nice. I like the buildings and textures. I also found some (secret) infantry paths. But there is one problem at this map. There is so much space. As infantry you walk for hours. And later it's only boring tank wars. Maybe it's because I had a fail commander (get absorbant first) and maybe I don't like tank wars. (In 2.23 it is boring to shoot on something, that's not gonna die). So right now, this map will not become one of my favorite maps. Why all these new maps must be so big? The older ones are mostly smaller. And I have much fun on the older ones. Doesn't care if 4vs4 or 20vs20.
Mayama, you don't need more displacements, you just need to make the current ones looks less... edible. Also, those weird little ramps like the one in the foreground of the above picture look strange. LEARN TO DISPLACE LIKE A REAL MAN.
Those "ramps" look strange because shadows make them look darker I had some test with very large lightmap settings and it looked perfectly fine.
My moutains have the same round form like hills on emp_canyon, slaughtered asf and I didnt even know that something like "christmas pudding exist" in some obscure countrys. EDIT: The reason i make orange aka "rocky maps" is because flat grass sucks imo EDIT2: was a little bit pissed about the anoying "rock" question of you two, problem is that I cant really change the form of the rocks. Inside their are huge nodraw brushes for optimisation
I think the map looks fantastic Mayama - definitely one of your better works. I have yet to actually play a round on it, but it looks great. Not to mention you made this one pretty darn fast by yourself.
