honestly, i prefer to just make the disps by hand. terragen is nice and all, but you can't actively redo things in the same way as you can if you do it by hand. then again, I'm not trying to make an exact replica of europe.

 

If you are trying to make exact replicas then terragen is useful, but exact replicas suck, so you shouldn't want to make them.

You'd need to edit the map heavily anyway to make it playable, it won't have enough vertical space by default.

 

a hint about how big europe is and how small a empires map will not change anything I guess...

oh and who thinks that a city like london will be as big as a radar
if you scale down europe that much?!?!

I do, a map of Europe with detailed cities and events is harder then just a replica of mvalley or slaughtered.

 

I'd really like to see some examples of your work, or i doubt anyone would stop flaming you.

 

You might be able to get it to radar size on a x64 scaled map. Might.

 

actually, 1/16th scale would work. that would turn the entire map into the size of the London corner.

Flaming as I understand it is when you swear and insult the poster, not when you disagree or criticise them.
