we need this. watch this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0J1SmVlxfeU&feature=channel and tell me otherwise...we got any available animators to rig up the playermodel to A: -a pose with him hold the wheel of a jeep (likely requires x2, 1 for each team jeep) *possible hijack plugin issue in alignment* and B: -an animation of him transitioning quickly from driving to holding his gun. This should be no longer than 1 second in elsapsed time as the mod does not prevent you from shooting in about that same timeframe (devs can confirm accuracy) please people, watch the vid and get onboard! this could add a lot to the fun of jeeps and their reality in the game. (that and singleslot mg mounts that are useable by players (halo anyone?, that was fun shit, still is)
I agree it looks odd but im afraid it goes back to blameing the source engine. The jerkiny player models are to do with the psysics side of the source engine which the devs dont have access to unless they borght rights to the engine. So if you have about £1,000,000 down the back of your sofa im afraid were gonna have to live with it for the time being.

Driving animations for the driver, sitting anims for the passengers. Don't really remmber how animations are handled in Source, but in HL1 you could blend them pretty easily.
The Source engine allows for up to 9 blends at a time, IIRC. The problem is getting the animations done.
Whenever i see a jeep drive past, the model of the player inside keeps spazzing back and forth through the geometry of the jeep. Anyone else getting this? Would a new animation fix this? This is valuable information.
IIRC correctly there is a way to disable collisions between two objects, i think it's worth trying to see if it stops the jerkiness.
