Don't increase the vehicle limit in 2.5, and don't increase the max players either. Instead we should focus on reducing the lag issues.
you can technically have higher max limit on veichles but noone does it due to lagg.... and noone is asking for/working on increased max player capacity as far as i know and only a few servers use/can handle the max player limit. so i dont understand why ur posting this in the suggestion section....

They are. Kane/Brutos is re optimizing the code so it's more efficient and thus handles more vehicles.
Vehicle limit is actually closer to a server option to deal with the lag caused by vehicles. It is not a decision made by the devs, but merely a suggestion based on their work.
The config files say 32 vehicles (variable represents per side) is the default. Limit is reduced at the server operators discretion.

I would really like to see 128 players on empires server , but not before all current issues get fixed. I agree with zeke , why the fuck are you asking ? vehicle limit depend on servers , infantry limit is not being planned. What you're saying is 100% pointless.
Isn't the vehicle limit hardcoded as a max of 10 per side in 2.24d? I'd say just leave it as a variable that server owners can adjust according to what their hardware can handle.
