We were playing a match of Slaughtered. Connexion went to com on BE and NF seemed pretty stacked against overall. So, i join NF and we actually seem to do decently. Anyway, i spend most of the match driving around taking down as many of the 9000 radars that connexion put down as possible, along with a lot of other base structures because i guess connexion was too busy telling everyone to rush our com. More to the point: Even though i had made it clear that his ramming attempts wouldn't make me stop firing those UGLs at his shit, he did decide to engage my apc on his way to his original main (not much left, they're trying to grab it back). So i play around with him, try to get someone to spawn with stickies. I also try passively to ram him off the cliff, but after a while end up on the receiving end of that. No matter, i get out and shoot him while i let him ram it near the fencing, hoping he'd fall in himself. So in comes this one guy, who seem to be amongst the few of empires players who fucking gets it. RuFo, my absolute hero, rams his medium so far up connexions ass that he goes for a swim. All of BE then explodes into a delightful ragefest which I'd wager most of NF took great pleasure in. I know i did. Connexion, Dembil, and BJ all on one team? I'm pretty sure that is excessive retard, which is about two full levels of retard above full retard.
The vast majority of the time i used my mortar. Only about the time that BE decided to go picnic in our base did i shift to UGL. Also, playing against BE with HE cannons.
I was in pretty much the exact situation connexion seems to have ended up in, not much longer than a week ago. We had all of the map except for southeast and their original main, and were doing pretty well. I went to where connexion fell in this incident and pushed off an enemy APC, accidentally taking myself halfway with it. After numerous attempts to put walls and turrets in my path, I fell into the water. No biggie, got two engies to repair me and made my main base in south middle. We won after the comm had been in the water for about three-five minutes. I think the sad part is that the game was nowhere near the first time I had won with my own command vehicle in the water.

Sorry... though to be fair, I was more generally mad because the ENTIRE team was there and if everybody just sat there we would have lost. Thanks for making the team not lose due to my stupidity. You aren't the first to fill the role, and you surely won't be the last.
I remember a round on emp_research where I kept a BSID comm hidden under the bridge by continuously repairing the CV with him. We won that one too.

Lol, I usually get troll mad but this one time connexion really got to me. If he was trying to make me mad I'd geeve, but he was actually permadumb. I'll explain this from a better perspective so people can see why I was buttmad. We basically had the entire map except southwest where there was a lone apc in the corner. As you can see NF only had 1 base. We cornered their team in the mid section of the map and we had a base in every other corner of the map. Literally all connexion had to do was sit in one fucking spot. Or drive around main. Or drive to middle from the top. Or fucking anything but what he did. So this permadumb decides to drive into the one place that is most vulnerable to him.... near the water. And it'd be fine if he realized that he fucked up, but this permadumb instead drove right where he KNOWS he can get fucked over aaaaand then he blames us. Seriously me and dembil capped the whole fucking map and this fucking idiot drove into the water because 1 apc got through to main.
