grah having a hard time doing this texture, but yes it will be for empires :p I had made a car for grizzly last year, but it had some silly problem being all transparant. I got it fixed, so after this texture, im making a truck and fixing the texture for the car(it was also 512, shouldve gone with 1024), and Grizzly will have 2 vehicles for his maps :D if you hadnt seen it already, heres a pic of the crappy car with crappy 512 texture (i love pics :D)
I really like the front spoiler on that thing. The geometry and textures work together well there, especially on the silver center-y bit.
Actually it's a Volkswagen... sold under the Bugatti label. Currently the second (?) fastest street legal car (in Europe?) Really interesting car .. a lot of technology .. it's very heavy, too. 407km/h tops .. electronically limited. It's called Veyron btw.
such a cool car. I loved the top gear episode that showed off the Veyron. I wish i knew when/if top gear is on the discovery channel.

That's a good one. Can we see this put into the official maps some time in the future? I know I could have a use for it (if I ever set up hammer again...)
nuts, I may have to redo half my map for this - I've got a load of streetlamps on func_detail that use a good number of my planes (i think, its up to 74% and there will be bits in the future I want to add). Although I was looking for rusted old stuff, this may be too jolly to pass up.
My texture skills are pretty much non existant, I encourage you to copy the files into a new folder and change the texture yourself edit: nvm that won't work, if you want to make a different texture, I can send you the uncompiled file, or you can send me the texture and i'll compile it.
