Defusing Mines: Lower the time needed to defuse

    Thread title. Currently it takes around ~2? (Hardcoded?) seconds to defuse a mine. Please reduce the time as often you feel like you're sitting on the mine just waiting for a friendly person to share the cookie with you in a big splat of gibs.

    I hate that so much that I started telling people with mic... "found a mine here at xxx DONT FUCKING COME HERE!"

    What would be even better is a progress meter that confirms you are actually DOING anything with it.

    Progress meter is the most important thing.

    I think 2 seconds is good, it makes it so grens dont just sprint around deleting mines, you need to be safe when you do it.

    Deactivate mine while it's actively being defused.

    Yeah, pretty much exactly what both Firewarrior and Ikalx said. Idk if we need to drop the time if those 2 things are done though. 2 seconds per mine is pretty fair.

    2 seconds per mine is perfect as long as the mine is deactivated while you are defusing.

    If a mine kills you, it's your own fault unless you're on district or some other really tiny infantry map.

    Mines are hard to see when you drive around and a couple of them in the same spot kill a LT immediately. Atleast add some visual clues to mines.
