I'd like to add a default motd server owners can use to the wiki page located here: https://wiki.empiresmod.com/Server_Rules Does anyone have a good idea for the default rules / text / links to add there?
No griefing, stacking, exploiting or ghosting. No spamming (includes voice, text, connection and excessive name changes). No porn or otherwise offensive sprays.
It's a form of cheating where players are given information they shouldn't have about another team or player.
im sure the default motd page could be used for something more useful than rules... its a shame i can't think of anything though...
it usually is complete, a welcome message, links to manuals, wiki's, forums, event announcements, but the rules need to be there. I had all that on my motd.
