Dark map ideas

    just funk_detailing the sh*t out of your map as you should, and using world brushes with or without nodraw to obscure vision/fill unused space should make any map within the grid compile

    if it doesn't, you are doing it wrong

    Played this map, downloaded it from a server its missing at least one texture. Probably because I don't have one of your other maps,

    I believe I was in the same game. The refineries aren't marked... Makes it hell to know where you should send your infantry.

    It was also impossible to place buildings around the NF base as BE, but I was able to place turrets and armories on the road, so I'm guessing there's something wrong with the displacements there.

    I had that a while ago, but i fixed it by doing exactly what you said.

    The outside area ONLY has brushes tied to func_detail
    And in the city at least 4/5 of the brushes are func_detail. More likely 7/8. The only brushes not func_detail are the ones i need to block visibility and they are just plain old brushes, and according to bum's post those do not count either anyway.

    South displacements still are not solid for most entities btw, can't seem to fix that.
