Helicopters arent shit. They can be used as jeeps. In the air! Maybe even strap on some dumb bombs where you just drop fire and they fall streight down on where your above so its not complicated. How will they solve the passenger issue for them? Will people be in there own seats like for tanks, or will infantry stand on them wich is bumpy and you slide back? I can get sounds for the helicopter too, cause we have one.
there will be dropships which would pretty much be the same code. Not much point with helicopters if they can just go straight ahead and put dropships and stuff in. Besides, I don't think helicoptes would really fit, aesthetically.
I think that something like AH-64 (Apache) to destroy tanks would fit and would be really cool. But I don't say that should be priority or anything. BTW transport/dropship model is bad. Really really bad. It looks like someone added a container to transport vehicle and ready. 2 clicks model done.

I think this game needs A-10 like heavy tank killing gunship that would make the vehicles scatter. Something slow moving(compared "fighters") that can take serious amounts of damage and deliver hell of a strong punch.
Our planned aircraft types are fighter, bomber, dropship, and ground attack. It even has straight wings like the A-10.

Them's some snazzy doors. Are there any opening/closing animations? It'd be neat if they worked like the ones on EMP_Escort w/ the open/close doors. :D
There shouldn't be helicopters in this game, for the large part they don't fit (maybe as NF?) and secondly, they're using VTOLs, so don't count on any convential aircraft in it ever... -Sheepe RUNWAYS!

Now make a dock or something for the boat to be constructed on! Once all that's done, Krenzo can work on the code (He can use airboat sounds) and we can use it to run around on emp_isle!!! I was thinking a dock stretching out from land and a crane dangling overhead where the boat appears. EDIT: okay, that was odd, I only now realize i was on the FIRST page. I thought you all magically posted all this in 2 min while i typed this.
My Imperial bunker is now available for download, thanks to dnc for hosting. Here is a pic. The next thing I'm working on is the NF Blimp.
ive already added that bunker into my map... it looked pretty cool... but i also want an nf. one.... as that does look pretty good. : ) lol and that is the brenody hill from my map... lolz... nice... its got more to it though as that was an version 0.000002 i think... and im currently on about v0.8...
I am also making a NF bunker as well, I was thinking of a designing something like they had in battlefield 1942. like a square with a semi-circle on one side with a ladder inside to get on the roof.
I can get the design and phys box finish today. Them I got to UV texture it, this will take the longest, about 2 or 3 days. Once that's done I'm going to make LODs for it, this will be the easiest and quickest thing to do. Lastly I need to export, make .qc file, compile, test and fix up any mistakes, then release.
