Crysis

So I just played Crysis Multiplayer, it's confusing (Power struggle that is). Do'nt get me wrong, I played for about an hour and figured out a lot of the game. I actually think it would be a lot of fun if played with a team. The problem is that nobody communicated. It was a long time till I heard someone use their mic. I thought mine was broken because no one answered when I asked if they could hear me.

How many people would be up for a game or two of power struggle? I'd love to actually coordinate with a team for massive damage. So many things are cool about it, I just think I was on a newb server or something.

 

Played the demo. It was....meh. Same with CoD4. I didn't even finish either demo actually. Is it just me?

 

yes, i loved the cod 4 athmosphere it was fucking amazing just to fire a clip into a wall and watch and hear it. crysis was quite entertaining because of freedom/graphics/ai

 

I'm not surprised that Crysis MP wouldn't be that good...far cry was pretty much the same.

I'm glad Valve aren't so greedy for money. They won't make a Half-Life movie because they 'couldn't find a way to make it work' and 'whats the point'? (Aside from whoring out Gordon Freeman to make a quick buck.)

Though I'm pissed they made the beginning of Ep1 less trippy because some of the playtesters 'didn't understand whats going on'. Boo-fucking-hoo.

Meh. I really can't see what the fuss is about. But then I never could get into Far Cry either.

I actually bought FarCry because of all the hype about CryEngine and how incredibly moddable it will be...

Uwe Boll is a fucking shit director that refuses to give up or improve, no matter how shit his movies are. Hes almost as bad as Jack Thompson, and their likely best friends.

I have only seen Alone in the Dark, found it mediocre, but I've seen worse movies with bigger names (Stealth anyone?) and I've always been curious why Boll is seen as the Antichrist himself. I wonder how many people just hate him because it's hip to hate him.
Far Cry will be the first Boll movie based on a game I've played, so I'll delay my final verdict until then.

 

The people that hate him are the ones who like videogames, plus he became even more famous when he challenged a bunch of critics to a boxing match.

 

I had never heard of him until today, but the trailer looks like your usual B-movie sci-fi crap.

 

B-movie? it may look it, but by the end of it Boll will have reduced to to a pile of smoldering shit that cant even be called a Z-movie.
