What do you think of the current implementation of the (generally) red crosshairs in Empires?

needs more T or X crosshairs where the top of the + can potentially obscure targets.

crosshair colors should have the option to depend on what team your target is. NF guy looking at nothing/NF stuff = red.
NF guy looking at BE stuff = blue.

    or more options whatever

I'd like the game to aim for me so that I have more time to focus my efforts on what really matters in Empires: Building walls.

blue is a bad color for the crosshair since its the color of the sky, whats so wrong with our current crosshair color? also if the crosshair changes color if over an enemy, you could use that to target people hidden in bushes for example ...

Current crosshair is absolutely fine. I don't particularly take issue to getting the customisation feature from CS:S though.

Get multiple crosshairs so people can choose which one to pick.
    e.g. crysis

Just don't enforce those fail X or T or O's. They are good, but for close combat, not distance rape.

Funny you started a topic about this. I've been working on new VGUI stuff for empires.

Being able to adjust the crosshair darkness would be pretty nice for hidden scouts and / or bright maps.

Something that has bugged me in nearly every fps is that they give all sorts of fun colors for the cross-hairs, but only one at a time. So if your lovely red cross-hair is perfect on a blueish map it becomes nearly useless on a reddish one and vis-versa. So if the cross-hair is changed, I'd love to see it be two-toned, like black surrounded by white, making always clearly visible.
