you wana put that blimp explosion particle you made for me in the SVN(and the fires), I swear I'll get around to updating tropicvendetta at some point here. I really need to lower the starting res since we have 200 res barracks again. pretty much gave up on getting a model made for it but i can still sink the flaming blimp into the ocean.

I put in different colors to differentiate a bit further. If people really don't like the colors I'll make them all green or orange or something. Also keef, I haven't got the SVN downloaded atm with my shitty australian internet so I can't commit them. Someone else should.
I would prefer different particle colors for the res nodes instead of big numbers over them. They sure look good, but they make every map look like rainbow road - somewhat surreal.
At Nerd, the colors aren't eactly clear to a new player, how is he supposed to know red means 5x? At varbles yeah I was, purely to spite you.
I'd say anything above a 3x res node is turning the map into a king of the hill game. Under the assumption noone wants to place a 4x res node the colors could blend from silver to golden like that: 1x 2x 3x A more saturated color means a more saturated res node. Easy to catch Another approach could be to multiply the particles' speed by the res node factor. That way a noobie can understand by comparison that they are more valuable.
