Crash on second map played

    I can play the first map fine. I can load the second one fine. I can play for 2-3 minutes, then I crash out - every time. I'm finally getting crash dumps.

    I sent them to the bugs email, but I am copying them here as well...

    2.0 and all 1.08 RCs were stable for me, 2.1 and on have been nothing but trouble - the 2.1 RCs weren't around long enough for me to test.

    Redownload the Hotfix patch.

    There was a bug in the normal 2.11 update, so they released a fixed version.

    yeah got the same prob
    redownloaded hotfix and it hasnt crashed yet

    edit:
    i tried to watch a demo/open lan game -> hl2.exe failure
    (i know its a secondary prob but i had to mention it ;))

    I had re DLed a day or two ago...guess I got a bad version still.

    Hm, I'll go re-dl the hotfix now.
    But, I tend to crash every other map.

    Get the hotfix and any other fix possible. If that still doesn't work you may want to look into updated your graphics card driver.
