Whats the number one thing you forget to do while commanding a team? I always forget to drop repair pads.
giving targets. my mouse lags a lot so it's really bothersome to give targets. as for buildings, I think my team hates me for dropping too many (darn you building limit count. Why won't you let me surround the enemy base with tanks on repair pads?)
I forget what a good commander would do in any situation, and thus generally wing it. I also forget to honk my horn when running over infantry and getting trapped next to the enemy barracks.
I forget armouries, and forget to double check at that research is going (i click on research and some times it doesn't go)
Here's one of the things I hate. You start on Mvalley as BE/NF. I'm here revving my engine to head North and be the suicide boomtank I am. I finally start moving, and my team shouts, "REF A4." Sometimes I give it to them, other times I screw it and get a head start. Same thing with slaughtered. Do I go to S-Bend to splatterkill, or do I build the ref behind it? Anywas, the thing I forget to do most is drop radars. I'm mostly on the front lines as commander, and it's a pain having to go back2main to build a stinking radar.
sometimes I cant read some chat messages because I give too many targets and I get spammed everytime someone kills something.
I fail at multiple fronts and remembering to research. My first line whenever I spawn to CV is 'My memory is shit, you guys gotta remind me to do research.'
Biggest faults are turrets and occasionally research. Probably armouries? But I usually place one by every barracks a bit later on.
Drop targets I guess. I don't really forget to do anything much. Armories are powerful, walls are useful, refs are neccesary, research is easy, vehicles are next.
research, in the 3rd - 4th minute of the game. just when the game starts getting hectic, and your plan for domination starts to unravel due to the inadiquacies of your team, you're frantically giving individual units targets, laying down walls and turrets in brilliant positions. then you forget to do a research. absolute nightmare.
