Does anyone use these hotkeys? bind_commander "A" "+emp_comm_forceattack" bind_commander "D" "+emp_comm_umove" bind_commander "S" "emp_comm_ustop" If practically no one uses these hotkeys, then can we have // in front of these binds by default in the emp_config on the next update?
Er...well A was used more than any other thing in the history of time, prior to targets being removed.
Are people voting yes because of A for 'attack these targets'? (it's useless now) or are you guys voting because you use bind_commander "D" "+emp_comm_umove" bind_commander "S" "emp_comm_ustop"
i still use A for "attack this location" and i click for "abort" - the rest can be done with simple right clicking ...
Theres really no use to these anymore, everyone uses the buttons. please remove these in the next update so they can be freed up for other binds
I hardly ever use the hotkeys for attack/defend/guard etc. I do, however, use the control groups. ctrl 1-5 http://forums.empiresmod.com/showthread.php?p=330756
I always used all 3 of the binds, that said, I never used the buttons (if there are any, never looked for buttons because binds are better anyway)
There need to be hotkeys for "builld menu" and then hotkeys for whatever building you want to place, just like in any sensible RTS.
