Commander build block issue

    I was playing on rainbowroad. And in the beginning of the game a engineer placed a ML on our side of the map. He placed it in such a way that our commander could not drop a VF. Our commander then repeatably asked the player in question to remove his turret but he did not compile. Be for we knew it we had LT's and Jeeps crushing our asses.

    So, here is my suggestion:

    - Make it possible that friendly engineer structures are automatically removed when the commander is trying to drop a building on that position.

    The Commander can recycle Engineer-placed structures. He should have done that.

    What if the commander mis-clicks and it removes 10 of the Level 3 ML's, then you get rushed?

    Strange. Are you sure about that? because last time I tried to recycle an engineer's turret it didn't work.

    I'm sure he can recycle walls, omneh used to remove my lolfopts.

    Comm can't recycle engy turrets.
    Rainbowroad is a terrible map, but since your complaint technically applies elsewhere, I won't lock this.

    I was only sketching a situation. It also applies on other maps.
    I believe that the commander can only remove engineers walls.

    Then you have a fail comm, and I did not play many games where there where 10 engies that fully upgraded their turrets in a small area...

    What if the comm misclicks and recycles the main.

    It's not really important, they should be recycleable yeah.

    Though to be honest you'd have to be a pretty concerted engineer to completely grief a team with one turret.

    Only personal engineer structure should be affected. Not the comm dropped buildings. Did I not state that before?

    How about adding in a "stop recycling building"?

    You shouldn't be able to recycle comm buildings ?_?

    comm should be able to recycle everything including players. some of them would be more useful even if they get turned into wall pieces ... :3

    edit:
    actually i think any small structure (turrets, engicam/radar, walls) should just be destroyed instantly if you drop a huge structure ontop - maybe highligh the effected structures as bonus.
    building placement already is shite on some maps, this would only be helpful.

    Well, I meant the thing this guy suggested, where buildings get removed if the comm tries to build on them. What if he's going to put up a barracks, his cat jumps in his face, he screams for his mom who runs with hot coffee into his room and accidentally splashes his face with it making him move his arm an inch and clicking at the wrong area. Thus, removing a turreNt farm.

    That sounds about as likely as a meteor strike at the server location.

    Commander can only recycle Engy walls, not turrets/cameras, or remove his ammoboxes.
