Maybe this has been suggested before, but I think it would be interesting if people (or maybe just squad leaders) could have access to more options in the 'f' menu. Like things to alert commander they need a refinery.

I hate having someone say REF REF REF and I'm looking around for them. If there was a little [!] alert I could just click it.

Maybe this is too complicated/too late...
Anyway, let me know your opinions..

That could be done. I'm anxious of abuse though.

Well if abuse is available isnt the 'f' menu (Wtf is it called?) already being abused? Maybe there needs to be a limit to 10 seconds per 'f' menu command.

this is a fantastic suggestion; finding the person that says ref is a nightmare, and i miss when someone types it in the text and i'm busy.

    Use your units tab. :)

What if the commander could click on a players name in team chat to go to that location?

It would be a nice feature, but not absolutely necessary, because you can already see the coordinates and it should be easy to find the guy who asked for the refinery.

I don't agree ... when you're in the middle of a fight you will focus on the fight and not on some guy that starts asking for a ref in team chat ...

I like the idea of a blimping icon on the commanders' minimap more then selecting the guy on teamchat (too many actions, the blimping requires just a click on the minimap = much easier)

Also I have bit hard time remembering which way the Letter and Number coordinates go again.

So it would be nice if commander could just simply click on the player's name who is in your team and then his/hers screen would hop to the player's position. That would at least help me up with coordinates. :)

You can open up the units panel, expand the players list, and right-click on a player's name.

I'm assuming this is like a 'Krenzo has spoken' kind of thing so I'll leave this alone..

Oh yeah, there's that too. Now even that has some kind of useful meaning. >:) Man I sounded so evil but no offence or hard feelings though. <)
