    Cannon Zoom

    A zoom feature for medium/heavy tanks to more accurately place shots over longer distances. This would greatly enhance upgraded tanks long range capabilities.

    Pros:
    *Easier to identify and hit targets.

    Cons:
    *Too easy to hit targets
    *Unfair advantage to other ground units

    Discuss.

    I like. Just make the tanks immobile while using zoom.

    Well, it wouldn't really matter since the shells won't hit what you're aiming at, making the zoom pointless.

    It's mostly for upgraded cannons since standard cannons are too inaccurate by default.

    Make this for ER cannons, and have it zoom out in order to load a new shot?

    Yup, not a bad idea. I'd be in favour of limiting it to cannon type, rather than chassis though.

    EDIT: But what happens if you have an ER and a standard, zoom using the ER and then fire the standard? Maybe all other cannons should be locked whilst you're zoomed in. Come to think of it, this may be handy for some missiles too.

    That would be useful when trying to destroy level 2 and 3 turrets. You should be able to shoot when zoom is on. (using any weapon)

    Cannons are already hard to use on long range, missiles are not accurate (maybe except guided/homing) so are machine guns.

    I wouldn't worry too much brocolli, about standard. Only the heavy could really do this, and if NF wants to roll with a standard with the new weigh tables, then let it zoom. As for the BE Heavy, more of a concern, but still, I don't think it's the biggest problem
