I think that happened maybe like 5 times in all of empires. I miss being able to mortarjump to the be side.

even if your nearly always guaranteed to loose by joining NF I love joining NF to fight against the inevitable. Keep escort while maybe fixing bits of it. The fix is optional.
I'm for removing escort. Its a shit map. I'm also for removing classic money which is even more shittier.
I'd say we keep money, but make it a tutorial map for commander. Because the ref sites are obvious, there's a really big space to drop buildings and the map structure is just simple.
In truth, money *kinda* works as a newb map to dick around with tanks. What ever happened to the newb server? I know it got afflicted with pubstarts wanting to get cheap victories over newcomers, but it really seemed like a good idea.
Would it be too much to make Money a wider map, such that ER arty is useful, but you have to go out of your base for it? Honestly that's all there is to this map until then.
Somewhat surprisingly, I don't see arty that often on money. Partly due to arty truces, it's a kinda lame ending. Partly due to once arty getting researched people stop getting heavies and get arty which causes a lose.
1) Use map script to increase server gravity each time money is on 2) Arty ER can't reach base to base anymore.... 3) Who gives a fuck that falling off walls can hurt a little now? (And vehicles have more traction and don't spin out...) 4) ??? 5) profit? also... when is that map script disable research path gana come in? as in... disable arty and it can NOT be researched.
Arty truces get broken. Why do people have to handycap themselves to keep gameplay fun? That should never be a solution. Speaking of, max range on nuke missles should really be reimplemented. can still be long but should be shorter than mid to the refs, the only time shots THAT far are ever useful are when they are just over powered.
middle just is too narrow for somewhat decent tank-fights to happen. there also isnt enough cover for infantry on the bridges. if you have a no-arty truce with doesnt get broken, your best bet is to camp the middle highground inside your base with 2 engis per side and the rest roaming grens until you have nukes. there really isnt any reason to build any vehicle aside from maybe a spawn apc for NF because their rax are so damn high. also comm needs to plaster the base with buildings and turrets. no matter what building, as long as its plenty of it. replacing the whole center with terrain and some cover inbetween might work. also some infantry only access stairs up the battlements. but as money is atm its either arty, nukes or an endless stalemate.

Sounds like you have a gripe with money_cl which is the old, regularly played version (for some weird reason) instead of the awesome ones by Trickster or Terminator.
Am I the only one here who actually likes classic version more? The new version is about capturing a place first, and almost guaranteed to never lose it. Like mid fortress and bridges.
