Can we please stop escorting

Ummm I said I corrected a few things and listed what was corrected.
Unless you are reporting that since my post none of my changes worked?

thanks for the clarification, the mapvote was set to 51% since the run off vote was disabled due to the file overwriting it changed to the map with the highest % 20, 40 etc.

There are many cfg files for this plugin so hopefully I corrected the right ones.

I'm against removing escort but woldn't be too sad if it was taken off or played less. I have noticed people are often exhausted after it, leading to a decline in server population.
Perhaps replacing it with nuclear, that map is great and pretty similar but doesn't last as long.

 

But it's so cool watching a ton of be up on the wall doing stuff.

I think the main issues that it's also same as fuck and long as fuck.

You're basically acting out a script for an exhaustingly long play.

 

If people go to see Shakespeare nearly 4 centuries later, you guys can damn well watch empires-Macbeth for 40 minutes dammit.

Well, even if I were to remove escort or any other map from the stock install, it wouldn't remove it from the servers. Server owners have an awful lot of power in how the game is played and what is played.

 

You probably could make the server start to compute a thousand parrallel Pi's every time any map with *escort* comes up though.
