So I had an idea today. What if I made a map where one side has the high ground and like, 12 arty tanks and the other side has to rush them through the trees and in the dark? the side with the arty has cameras set up in hard to kill locations along this dense forest to aid the arty. it's in the best interest of the attacking team to take these out.... will add more later
I feel like landing arty shots will get hard pretty fast and people will just turn to lurking under trees.
Arty and infantry would work if there were a map with enough hard cover. Trench warfare style where you have to rush from cover to cover to avoid the shells whilst dodging sniper and HMG fire.
We need more kooky asymmetrical maps. Don't water down this idea. Let the map last like two minutes. That's ok. Other maps can tweak this kind of idea to get a "regular" match. We need these kinds of breaks from the drole maps.
that's the sole idea why I wanted empirescup to be official or atleast stored in the steampipe. FN, infantry spotting the attackers could fuck over your funky idea.
