I just came out of the 3 greatest games of my life.
    1) We had a minor advantage, but then suddenly like 20 people joined in about a minute (really) and it was amazing. BE won (YAY Go us!)
    2) Escort. BE never made it past the first flag. NF won by capping BE flag. 49 sniping kills, it was amazing the amount of team work that went into that.
    3) Isle, Kinda rough due to poor control of build limits. NF won again. Rapidly expanded, then one person kept pestering their main base. Was just amazing. Ended with a high speed chase of their (BE) comm into our (NF) base. Somehow someone flipped our comm at the very end...

It just shows how amazing this mod can be when enough players get together and work together...

I was in the second and half the third game. In the second I just stood in the spawn and did nothing the whole time because I was watching T.V. I was Northern Faction by the way.

Oh, I've had some amazing battles on Canyon. this one time, it was literally the tightest squad I've ever had fighting twice it's number in BE on the left gap. they had tonnes of turrets and we both had walls, creating intense battles as rifleman were able to run around a wall and clear the entire other side. suddenly, we gained Arty about a minute before they did and totally broke through; destroying their first base with grenediers in about half a minute (the arty couldn't get past the walls). however, their CV was put up on the cliff beside where it started, and they were defended by enough grenediers and turrets to prevent any sort of assault. many walls sprung up across the wasteland infront of their base, but no attack we made could get through. there were medium tanks constantly bombarding their base from the east but they were being cut down by the sheer amount of rockets being flung at them.

finally we managed to sneak an Arty behind the large cliff sort of rock opposite their base. true to the meaning of the role, me and another scout "guided" the arty: giving it instructions as to where to fire (as it couldn't see over the rock). teamspeak and microphones were indespensible. as the last MG turret went down a rousing cry of "GO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO" came from one of the squadmates, and about 5 of us charged the clifftop base, with covering fire from the arty clearing the way.

none of this is made up. it was legendary.

    Wow!
Reminds me of an emp_money game. I was BE....
I had just played a long, fun match on Isle and I was ready to quit, but I knew how important a fast start on Escort was (since everything is just right there) so I decided to just help out a little while as comm/engy. I soon realize I would never leave that game.

We had a pretty good comm w/ a mic, so I went grenader to try and help stop the continuous assaults from Artys and heavy tanks. I have no idea how many tanks I pwned that game. I was leading tanks perfectly, timing their retreat into my shot, and I shelled the crap out of the center areas on the bridges with mortar fire. They were kind of winning, but we were holding them back. I kept ninja-ing though, in an attempt to bypass all their offensive. I made it by like 14 times, but usually I was found and killed. Soon they learned, and set up a lvl 3 mg turret near their comm (they would soon learn that doesn't stop MrBojangl3s :D).

We finally got teched up, and got Lvl 3 turrets. After pushing the tanks back, we got some turrets up for an ok defense. We then also got heavy tanks, artys, and nukes. With a few tanks trying to attack with nukes, and Arty attacking with ER cannon, WE were now on the offensive. However, it wasn't tanks in this game that were breaking their lines. They didn't have much of a turret defensive (tanks with nukes = not many turrets) so about 2-3 infantry usually would make it up to their walls which was the only thing stoping the tanks. I remember going in with 2 other guys. 1 went past the walls to try and destroy something, but was found. Another was deconstructing walls. I had built 2 ML turrets (I was Staff Sgt. by then :D) behind THEIR walls, so they couldn't destroy them, and would go right pass them thinking they were safe. They got some use, but it didn't take long for me and them to die. At this point most of their defenses were gone, and it was just a battle of tanks and arty.

I made an announcement: "If you have 3 skills or more, and are grenader, meet at the VF for a jeep-run" Wuva showed up, and me and him got into a jeep with max armour, and a gas turbine engine.
:: cue awesome action scene music ::
I drove by our tanks as fast as I could; I lined it up to where I wouldn't have to go around a single thing, like a bullet firing out of a gun. I flew past (literally, I ramped off the middle of the south Bridge :D) their tanks, and with good driving I slowly turned and didn't spin-out. According to Wuva, I was going so fast that I matched the Lvl 3 ML Turrets' missles' speed. I was high on ectasy (gaming wise, I don't touch drugs ;p) at that point, and we got out from an angle away from the MG turret. We focused on the back of the Comm, working together. We unloaded our Rocket Launcher into it, and before I knew it,
    BE WAS VICTORIOUS!

Best game I ever had was when I opened the gate on escort right after it started. We surrounded the enemy and captured the first three flags fast. Because of this we had ample tickets to waste on the last flag.

Not the best one ever, but still pretty good.

I've had some pretty amazing games too.

One I will always remember was when I was the only medium tank left, and our base was reduced to one corner of canyone. I took out 15 tanks with my little buddy, and had an AFV (goose) as my back-up. Keep in mind that we had 1 ticket and the enemy had 20 some. I dwindled their numbers to 1 eventually, heavy casualties on both sides.

In the end, there were just 2 tanks left, me and this other guy. He was a heavy with plasma MG and I could carelessly attack him or wlse I would overheat.

I rushed him, unloading my HE shell into his tank, both of us were heated up and heavely damaged from the fight...

Then...I fell in a crater and unloaded everything I had into him, slowing him down to a hault. The enemy ejected from his vehical and ran to mine, trying to deconstruct it. I popped out, trying to shoot him but I was reduced to insufficiant health, so I hopped back in my tank for saftey...

But...I had a trump card in the form of a camper :P

There was one uy left on my team and he walked around my tank, shooting the guy anti-climatically...Then he accidently walked into a turret and died -_-

So it was just me and I ended up destrying the enemy comm.

Best game ever! Hoever the guys that couldn't respawn (We had 1 ticket left) wouldn't agree lol

    I thought you meant money.

I played quite a cool Duststorm a couple of weeks ago, where there was a huge amount of players on each team. at one point, I remember trying to get from our NF base to the ruins, where we had lost out barracks, and suddenly being caught in a gigantic tank battle. The NF had about 3 heavy tanks and an artilliary, while the BE had atleast 4 - 5 of their tanks. as i hid in a crater, i just watched as dozens of shells flew above me and about me.

I think we lost, but it was a great match.

I think that's when kickass sound effects would be awesome :D It would be so cool to hear whistling artillery shells and bigger, better explosions.

Well.. I have to admit, D-Day was really exciting, but at the same time I wanted to thrust my controler into the screen. It was freaking frustrating even at Normal difficulty. You either lucked out and choose the trenches to the right, or you went left into the other trenches, where you most likely died 23 times trying to get past 3 heavy mgs even after killing the gunners a billion times... don't you remember? In WW2 the spawnpoints were right next to the MGs! Infinite Nazis DUHHHH you just have to run past a certain area to stop the German War Machine! Yay!
