Uh, no, Quake 1 - 3 were masterpieces. They also made id Tech 2 which is the reason why Half-life and COD were even possible.

 

I mean that was all id accomplished with Doom.

After playing it for a month I have come to the conclusion BF3 is CoD and it is terrible.

I am bored of getting unlock pwned. I am bored of never being able to get Coop games to work. I am bored of no mic support, even in coop. I mean it is a good time killer when I want to play for 30 minutes but really it has totally missed the mark for me.

 

The coop games are meh anyway. I'm happy there's no VoIP. Battlefield 2 needed that and it worked well, but now that Battlefield 3 has been hyped up towards CoD level, children will infest my beloved franchise and spew names like "oO_Hanniball_Oo", "XxLorexXD" and "xXx_XA_XA_XA_xXx" (genuine names from my Battlelog reports) on my scoreboard while whining like a bunch of spoiled brats about why people won't walk directly in front of their line of fire on purpose. I do not want to hear the prepubescent voices of them.

The only unlock weapon that is better than the standard weapon is the M98B sniper. Otherwise the stock weapons are pretty much as lethal any unlock weapon as long as you know how to use it. Except for my beloved M5K. My new wünderwaffen.

But yeah, Armoured Kill. This is going to be awesome.

 

I bought this like 8 months ago and still haven't played a single time. What a waste of money.

The atvs on the armored kill dlc are amazing. Flying over valleys and shit. Crushing motherfuckers before they know what's coming. Bloodraven, you would find great joy with the atvs

 

did they ever add microphone support to this game? ive been boycotting this game since the decision to take out an important feature just for pc gamers.

 

Useless. Get a bunch of friends and a TS. Either you're playing with retards that can't play the game or people who actually know how to teamwork without having to hear each other.

 

I'm sorry but its not useless, its a feature that changes a casual arcade shooter game into a strategic game. also I refuse to make friends or download teamspeak cuz a dev is too fucking lazy to include things that should have come with the $60 price tag.
