    First off, this film is like nonsense apocalyptic gonzo porn. All action, no plot. But, one thing is exceptional and worth viewing in the theater. Not only do the Marines ninja the alien CV, but this film features an epic scene of boomtanking. It was most glorious. As they were escaping LA, the Marine apc and jeep encountered aliens bunched in a tunnel like land. At which point I said to my gf "I know what I would do". Then, we were the only ones laughing as cinematic boomtanking unfolded before my eyes. Highly recommended simply for this scene

    Yeah, that didn't make any sense... I mean you have a habit of inadvertently, unexpectedly and spectacularly failing, but even those rounds are far more fun than the typical dull-com.

    most comms I just want to punch in the face when they get stuck somewhere and die, but I laugh my ass off when I see hobbes on top of a tree with the whole enemy team there.

    I saw the movie the previous Sunday and I liked it. Dialogue was fine with me as I found it reasonable. Not to mention showed real American fighting spirit(sure, facepalm me, I dare ya). The movie raised my spirits and got me pumped like "Yea!!! Kick some alien ass!!!". I overall like it better than Independence Day which I also like. This however makes you feel good inside.
