Now available on Steam. Premise is the song you choose from your own computer changes the track/speed/pace of the game. http://www.fileplanet.com/184029/180000/fileinfo/Audiosurf-Demo Thats the only demo I've been able to find so far, if you don't have fileplanet, there should be one up on their main site soon.
I discovered a way with the demo where you can play as many tracks as you want, regardless of the limit =) I shall be buying this :D
Interesting, but I'd never actually spend money on anything I won't still be playing in a week. You get can the demo right off steam BTW.
this game would be fun with some mdma, juice, and tiesto CD But for some reason it looked like crap on my computer.. My track had a white background that hurt my eyes and it was too fast paced..
...playing this types of games (flash ones) for more than 2 minutes at a time bores me...this looks worse. THey really are charging 10 USD for this game?!
im seriously considering buying this, but i watched some youtube videos and the gameplay doesn't seem "hardcore" enough. i mean seriously you can't lose. I can't feel a buzz of adrenalin if it doesn't matter what i do i'm only getting a high score.
Try this if you like arcade games that just never stop until they kill you. I played it on a public computer once and quickly had a small crowd of guys cheering me on and shouting advice.
...having now played this, it sucks. Kinda fun, but WAYYY to dependant on the song. For example, Muse - Hysteria makes for some fun. On the other hand, RHCP Otherside and Muse Bliss, Sunburn - do NOT. THey don't have enough drums, so despite not being soft or "mellow" songs, they're virtually ALL gray blocks if you're using any mono char. Not worth money if you ask me, not until they rework the algorithm they use for calculating the track,

I downloaded it... then bought it... And I just spent 3 or so hours playing this; most of my songs are dance and techno so it was always downhill... WeeeeEE!!! I see purdy colors everywhere; oh and happy birthday grayclay :D
Well... we could do that, if every person sends me a little bit, I can buy grayclay audiosurf as his present :p
i played it and didn't like it. Though playing it with "Through Fire and the Flames" is epic :D I could see how i could get bored within 30mins, so im not buying it. And Peggle is awesome! :D
