I think the actual glitch here is that the red plate of armour isn't disappearing - in the GUI and maybe under the hood as well. It looks like you have 1 plate of red health armour but you're hull takes damage all the way to destruction. RC ~138 Actually it appears now that all (Brenodi) tanks including Jeeps have 1 plate of red damage armour 24/7. Only confirmed for friendly units. Maybe after match I'll create server test NF and Armour Detection etc. GUI error? I have reports of NF red armour glitch too now Also, a BE medium with no plates. I think it might have been built that way.
Are you saying you're dying when you have one plate of red armor from one shot or you're taking direct hull damage and surviving while the armor remains in place. It's not a bug for overflow damage to go through a plate (or several) and then hit the hull.
Cool idea for overflow, but it might be broken. Actually MOOtant seemed to think that it was just a GUI precision (as I understood) error where 0 armour was showing up as red. It looks in-game like do-nothing armour that never gets 100% destroyed.
If it's what Mootant said it is, then: - it's not critical for the 2.25 release - it's easily fixable Create a ticket in mantis please. Good job with finding it by the way.
Ugh... The bug is very visible: if You buy a vehicle without an armor on it (f.e. any jeep), it shows one red armor plate on each side
