Not yet, I'm confused by the fact that everything else (internet-related) works fine, unless I enter steampowered.com in Firefox.

EDIT: Can somebody from Germany please state whether they have problems?

That's already known. Its not a problem with Valve and their servers, its a problem with your ISP. I heard that especially 1&1 customers, who use a FRITZ!-box have that problem. Not everyone though, as it works for me and I am using a FRITZ!-box with 1&1 being my ISP.

OK, just in case somebody has the same problem, here's the story:

-1&1 has recently acquired a new IP range (95:...)

-Apparently Valve had this IP range blocked, I read something about hackers using this IP range, no idea if that's true. Point is that the IP range is new, and everybody with a 95:... IP has problems.

-Solutions: You can reset your router and hope you get an IP that doesn't start with 95, but that takes a lot of tries. Additionally, there are two workarounds, contained in the first and the sixth post on the page, respectively. Links are in German, but I have yet to hear from non-German customers with problems.

-For a permanent solution, we'll have to wait for Valve to unblock these IP ranges. I will contact the Steam support on monday (I can't access the Steam support page because the IP range is blocked there as well, so I have to go the university to look up the Steam support address)

I go to university, not to school, and everything I posted I learned from Googling and my own experience with being unable to contact Steam.

I can access Steam again, don't know about anybody else.

EDIT: Turns out it wasn't Valve who b& those IPs, they replied in a thread in the support forums. It seems to be a routing problem, a couple of people tracerouted it, and it always ends at a company named Telefonica (which has nothing to do with Valve or my ISP). Interestingly, now that Steam works again, a couple of other sites don't work for me, most prominently xkcd.
