Angry's 2.0 sounds Enhancement pack (It's back)

That's right the very same pack that was added to 2.0 is back this is comprised of final audio replacements that were to replace some of my sounds that we're sub par but never quite made it to 2.0 (Damnit krenzo they sound nothing like the ones I sent you). As well as a new NF voices (Done by Joshua Tomar).

The purpose of this is to get feedback to finish these sounds and keep me busy till I have to go get sounds for aircraft and such. I later plan on adding tank reload sounds for the Missles and Cannons.

Changelog v1:
- Replace NF voices with the ones Joshua Tomar did earlier (Will later be replaced with ones more serious)

- Replaces the NF buckshot pistol with even more beefier sounds

- Replaces the mortar with ACTUAL mortar sounds

- New BE SMG2 sounds

- Much better BE scoutrifle sounds

- BE pistols now have firing sounds that actually sound like pistols instead of BBguns

I tried this out, and i have to say that the weapons it modifies sound extremely better. The mortars actually sounds like real mortars, not just crappy toys. The upgraded BE pistol sounds make them sound like the guns they are supposed to be! Best of all, the BE Sniper rifle doesnt sound like a phaser gun anymore, it sounds like a solid sniper rifle!

This is an extremely good addition to your game, and the voices sound SOO much better. It sounds less like a drunk guy late at night trying to pretend hes from eastern europe, and it replaces it with a voice not unlike the Heavy from TF2.

A must for the serious Empires gamer!

 

I'm using the BE scout rifle sound in this pack as the NF scout rifle sound, using the only the commander orders Tomar did, & using the NF shotty sound.

 

so THATS why i didnt recognize the new voices.

 

I could have sworn that those better shotty pistol sounds were already in.

 

These sounds are great, perfect even. Its good that the mortars finally sound like a real mortar, and the NF voices sound more serious. Not to mention, that the buckshot pistol sounds now strike fear into the hearts of BE players, lol. However, I must say that I'm not the only one who is going to miss, "TAKE COVAAARRRR!"

Cuz it's fun, & I don't agree with most of the weapon sounds or voice sounds for that matter. :p I just pick the ones I like & rest go to the Recycling bin. Like how I'm using most of the weapon sounds for BE on NF

Very nice sounds indeed.

Only the mortars seems to sound weaker ingame for me than when I play it by itself. Like it doesnt have all the bass on the fire sound when ingame or something.

Earlier I was considering if it might be good to try to contact one of the dudes that made sound packs for OFP and ask for permission to use them. But these are very nice.

 

First off what's an OFP? Second I can increase the volume on the mortar

Oh yeah Operation FlashPoint... I had the right game, I was just thinking OPeration Flashpoint.

 

i got reasonable speed on the slow link 20-60 to 120kb/sec fast enough for a file under 10mb at 136 gmt.

 

My brother just called, your ego has already reached Switzerland :p
