How in any way, would this enhance gameplay? Seriously, I mean this in the nicest way possible. Kill yourself. Do the entire human race a favour and improve the Gene-pool. Because this is the stupidest argument I've ever fucking heard. I know, why don't we have aircraft? We'll have to have flying tanks instead of aircraft models though, but people play for the game right, not for realism. No. Get the fuck out and actually think through what the fuck you're saying. Take 10 seconds after you've written out a post to consider this: "Does this make me look like (more of) a fucking retard?". Sure, this might mean you never post again, but it's for the best.

Oh, and I like the idea of being able to throw the mines a better distance or something. That could be helpful when next to a tank, but in cover. You could slide it out and take down the tank.

Make them smart enough to help new players with little popups.

"It looks like you are placing a minefield! Might I suggest placing us in bushes or other places the enemy cant see into?"

 

For the record, "that's absolutely retarded" is in fact a decent argument. It's not that we need to argue why it's retarded, but rather you should give us more reason as to why it isn't retarded. Who needs to drop 2 mines at once anyhow?

Throwing mines I could understand, but they shouldn't blow up on contact. Just throw the damned things from behind cover without exposing yourself is good enough.
